A MAN has been charged after heroin and cannabis was found in Musselburgh.
Police officers from the East Lothian Community Action Team carried out intelligence-led searches at two homes on Moir Crescent and Moir Avenue, where quantities of heroin and cannabis were found inside.
The total value of the seized drugs is about £1,000.
The 34-year-old will appear in court at a later date.
Chief Inspector Matt Paden said: "Tackling drug crime remains a priority in East Lothian and we will continue to carry out enforcement activity like this whenever we receive intelligence from our communities.
"I would urge any member of the public with information about ongoing drugs-related offences in their area to come forward and speak to police immediately."
