COUNTY motorists to and from Edinburgh are facing lengthy delays after a vehicle caught fire on the Edinburgh Bypass this morning.

Both lanes of the A720 eastbound were closed after a vehicle caught fire between the Baberton and Dreghorn junctions, with reports of queues stretching back for five miles.

Both lanes have now been re-opened, but Traffic Scotland reports of delays in both directions.
