POLICE have vowed to target anti-social driving at a popular coastal car park.
Concerns were raised about anti-social behaviour at the Shore Road car park, between Belhaven and Dunbar, at the Dunbar and East Linton Community and Police Partnership (CAPP) meeting recently.
Constable Gavin Ross, who attends the monthly meeting, highlighted there had been reports of cars making excessive noise.
He told members: “There was a car driving around at speed. We were sitting here [Dunbar Police Station] and we could hear it.”
The car was traced to the car park, where a number of cars were sitting.
The officer said there were other reports and police intended to keep an eye on the issue before reporting back at the next CAPP meeting.
