THE new-look for East Lothian's new bus services has been unveiled by East Coast Buses.

Seven single decker buses have been decked out with the new logos as they prepare to launch their new services in the county.

East Coast Buses is a subsidiary of Lothian Buses Ltdwhich was set up to provide services between Edinburgh and throughout East Lothian after First Bus announced plans to pull out of the county.

First Scotland East Ltd said it was ending its services in the county from August 14.

East Coast Buses Ltd has bought the company’s Musselburgh and North Berwick depots, and pledged to offer staff, who faced the axe, the chance to join them.

East Coast Buses promised to make significant investment to improve services, including refurbishment works to the Musselburgh garage, increasing the number of vehicles and deploying a new fleet of vehicles.

And they have given us a sneak preview of their new buses which will soon become a common sight on county roads.
