Readers have been sharing their pictures of this morning's dramatic storms across East Lothian.

The thunderstorms are expected to continue across the county until mid afternoon.

Torrential rain, giant hailstones and lightning have all been battering the county.

And we've been enjoying some of the images captured by readers.

The Met Office says "heavy and thundery rain" is predicted to last into the afternoon, with it gradually easing off over the course of the day into a dry evening.

A yellow 'be aware' warning is in place for the period up to 9pm tonight.

There is a risk of flash flooding in some areas, and motorists are urged to take extreme care on the roads.
