PARENTS of youngsters at Windygoul Primary School are “ignoring” the advice of staff about safe parking.
Staff members at the school have been passing on their concerns to parents about the volume of traffic at the school during peak times.
However, PC Garrett Hughes, community beat officer, believes parents are not taking the advice on board.
He told a meeting of the town’s community council: “I think they are just ignoring staff, to be honest. We’re going to have to go up to the area and see what we can do.”
Members of the community council were disappointed that the problem was continuing, but hoped it would be resolved soon.
