POLICE warnings have been given to two men who were caught with “several” pints of stolen milk.
Officers were out on nightshift in Haddington recently when they came across “two known local criminals” walking on West Road with several pints of milk in their possession.
Constable Lynn Black gave the town’s community council an update on policing matters at their meeting this month.
She said: “They have been spoken to and admitted stealing it from doorsteps on Clerkington Walk.
“Both males were issued with recorded police warnings.”
