EFFORTS are being made to move on a group of travelling people who have taken up residence in the park at Wallyford where the village gala took place at the beginning of June.
An East Lothian Council spokesman said: "We are aware of the encampment and have informed the occupants that they will have to move on.
"Should they fail to leave the site, we will thereafter seek to raise legal proceedings to remove them."
