RESIDENTS are being invited to find out more about Queen Margaret University and its work in the community as it hosts a Community Forum tomorrow (Tuesday).

The event takes place at the university's campus in Musselburgh from 6.30pm to 7.45pm.

Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions about the university and how it is working with the community.

Catriona Liddle, lecturer in food and drink, will host a tour of QMU’s Scottish Centre for Food Development and Innovation.

The QMU Community Forum brings together university staff, residents, businesses, organisations, schools and council representatives twice a year to discuss university and local community issues.

QMU is open to the local community throughout the year, providing a range of public facilities, including learning resources, gym and sports centre, cafe, restaurant and grounds for leisure activities and dog-walking.
