A PARAGLIDER was rushed to hospital on Monday afternoon after becoming trapped on the rocks at Traprain Law.
The man, who has not been named, was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary suffering from lower leg and abdomen injuries.
Firefighters from East Linton, Dunbar and Newcraighall joined colleagues from the Scottish Ambulance Service at the historic hill fort shortly after 3.05pm.
The paraglider had collided with the fort and firefighters helped by putting him on a stretcher and handing him over to the Scottish Ambulance Service.
