THE HUNT for a man who went missing from his home in Clydebank more than four weeks ago has turned to North Berwick.

Police are appealing to anyone in the East Lothian town who may have seen Stuart Clark to get in touch.

Mr Clark, 59, was last seen on CCTV on a train between Cardross and Dalmuir, where he lives, on Sunday, January 17 shortly before lunchtime.

It is thought he may have been drinking in a local pub the following day but he has not been sighted since then and police are desperately seeking anyone who has seen him since then.

Officers said Mr Clark was known to visit North Berwick from time to time and had friends in the area. They are appealing for anyone who sees him to contact them.

Mr Clark is described as around 6ft 2 inches tall, of medium build, with red hair and beard. He wears glasses and has a distinctive stilted walk.

He is believed to be wearing a dark-coloured waterproof jacket and was carrying a black/grey rucksack.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.
