FOUR people have been taken to hospital after a three-car crash involving a Lamborghini outside Wallyford.
Police have closed Salters Road between Fa'side Avenue North, Wallyford, and the Carberry roundabout following the smash, which happened shortly after 2.30pm.
Police said three vehicles were involved in the incident, including the Lamborghini, a Ford Fiesta, and a Ford Focus, which happened as the drivers were heading west towards Dalkeith.
No details of the injuries have been released but four people were taken to Edinburgh Royal infirmary.
The road remains closed to traffic from both directions as police investigate the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We are appealing for witnesses who may have seen these vehicles to contact us on 101."
