Many county residents woke up to a covering of snow this morning (Thursday).
Snow fell across much of East Lothian overnight, including in Haddington and Tranent, but the county did manage to avoid the heavy snowfalls seen it parts of Midlothian, while coastal areas were largely unaffected.
Temperatures are once more expected to drop this evening, and drivers are advised to take care on the roads.
