A 63-year-old man has been arrested and charged after police recovered cocaine potentially worth £80,000 in Prestonpans.
Police carried out a search of a vehicle they pulled over on McLeod Crescent on Monday and subsequently seized about 2kg of cocaine with a potential street value of £80,000.
The man accused is expected to appear before Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.

“I want to recognise the fantastic police effort that went into this operation and also the professionalism and commitment shown by officers.
“Police Scotland will continue to target those involved in drug crime and members of the public who have information relating to ongoing criminal activity in their local area can contact us on 101 or make an anonymous report through the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
