AITKEN William (Haddington) Peacefully at E.R.I, on April 14, 2024, after a short illness, William (Willie) in his 91st year, beloved husband of the late Barbara, dearly loved father of Hazel and William, dear father-in-law of Jim and Janice, devoted and adored grandad of Murray, Amy and David, proud great-grandad of Hamish and Bonnie, and friend to many. A service will be held at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Haddington on Thursday, May 9th at 10am, followed by the committal at St. Martins Cemetery, for 11am, to which family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please. There will be a retiral collection for Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland, in William's memory. Special thanks to the staff of Ward 101, E.R.I for their wonderful care and compassion. Sadly missed.
