MAIN Elizabeth (Betty) Waterston Main (nee Pryde) (Dunbar, Kirkcaldy) Elizabeth passed away peacefully at the age of 97 in Edinburgh Royal Infirmary on April 3rd 2024. Beloved wife of the late William Main; much loved mum and mum-in-law to David, Andrew and Roddy, Lena, Gill and Carole; a doting gran to Rachael, Lewis, Findlay and Nicky; great-gran to Arabella. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday 23rd April at Houndwood Crematorium, Grantshouse at 11.30am, to which all are invited. (Family flowers only, but donations can be made to Cancer Research). A life well-lived.

My deepest condolences to all of Betty’s family. We had such a wonderful friendship since 1992, something I will always hold dear. Lovely person, bright smile, sense of humor, making a person feel like you had known them forever. Enjoyed having Willie & Betty come here to California- timeless moments for all.
My memories of Willie & Betty are as fresh as yesterday — never to be forgotten. Jo Ellen
