MULTI-award-winning and internationally renowned nature photographer Laurie Campbell will be giving a talk and slideshow presentation at the Scottish Ornithologists’ Club Headquarters in Aberlady.

Following on from his previous visit to Waterston House in early February last year, Laurie returns to present his very best images from the past 12 months, with the stories behind how and why they were obtained.

Subjects covered range from specifically commissioned work in the Northumberland National Park, through to portfolios of work on seabirds, grey seals, feral goats and wildflowers.

This talk is open to all; photography enthusiasts and nature lovers alike will enjoy hearing one of Scotland’s best known natural history photographers speak, as well as being treated to some of Laurie’s very latest photographic work.

With a picture library more extensive than any other single photographer working in Scotland today, Laurie’s photographs regularly feature in magazines, books, exhibitions and displays and are distributed in a wide range of products, from calendars and postcards to mouse-mats and prints.

To date, he has won 23 awards (including three category winners) in the prestigious BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition.

He was recently honoured by the RSPB with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2014 Nature of Scotland Awards, as an individual who has made a remarkable and lasting contribution to Scottish nature conservation throughout their life.
