HISTORIAN and author Craig Statham returns to the John Gray Centre to give a special talk entitled Historic Maps at the John Gray Centre.

The talk offers a unique opportunity to meet a specialist in the field and learn about the National Library of Scotland maps collection, the John Gray Centre collection and online map tools to understand best ways of using these resources.

Craig Statham is a historian and author of the bestselling Lost East Lothian, among other titles.

Formerly East Lothian’s and Midlothian’s Local History Officer, he is now manager at the National Library of Scotland’s Maps Reading Room.

This is a special event, from 10am to 11.30am, organised by the Friends of the John Gray Centre. Entry is £5, or free to Friends.
