MUSIC with its origins in the Far East is set to fill Haddington Town House.
Violinist Yuka Ishizuka, from Japan, and Chinese pianist Ji Liu, recent winners of a Tunnell Trust Award, will play at 3pm.
Both are highly praised soloists in their own right and together, as Ishizuka Liu Duo, the prize-winning pair have planned an impressive programme for their Haddington concert: Debussy’s Violin Sonata, Beethoven’s Violin Sonata in F major, No.5 ‘Spring’, Messiaen’s Fantasie for violin and piano, and the sonata for piano and violin in D minor, No.3 Brahms.
Tickets are £12 for adults, concessions £10, students free if reserved in advance.
