Tranent savour win against county rivals
Arniston Rangers 4 v 0 Tranent Juniors, Tranent Juniors 1 v 0 Dunbar United
ARNISTON raced into a three goal lead by half time, with Davie Lees’ men second best in every department.
Rangers’ striker Utang struck after 15 minutes then added a quickfire double in the five minutes leading up to the break to complete his hat-trick.
Tranent managed to negotiate the second half with just the loss of one more goal.
Arniston sub Graham was allowed to run 35 yards before despatching the ball beyond Craig Cunningham.
On Monday evening, Tranent began the run of four home games which will bring the curtain down on their season with a visit from Dunbar United.
In an even contest, the only goal of the game came 14 minutes from time.
Joe Murray scored his 10th goal of the season, heading in from a free kick into the box.
