PRESTON ATHLETIC boss Stevie Myatt was delighted with his side’s 3-1 victory against Easthouses Lily in a Tyreman’s Premier Division match on Tuesday.
He said: “It was a good competitive game. We missed a few chances and had to wait until the 88th minute to seal it.
“This sets us up nicely for Saturday’s rearranged league game against Spartans.
“We were meant to meet them last Saturday, but it was postponed due to the amount of water on the park.
“Spartans are top of the league with 3 games to play.So it will be a great test for us.
“They are the benchmark for East of Scotland clubs se we know that it will be tough. We hope to spring a surprise and beat them. “
