TRANENT residents can learn a few energy-saving tips and pose questions to East Lothian MP Anne Moffat, during the next meeting of the town’s community council.
Ms Moffat is expected to hold a question and answer session during the meeting of Tranent and Elphinstone Community Council, taking place on September 16, at Tranent Day Centre, Church Street.
A presentation has also been arranged by representatives of Changeworks, an organisation which promotes energy-saving techniques and aims to protect the environment.
Community council chairman Raymond Strang said: “All are welcome to attend our meeting, which promises to be very informative for all involved.”
The meeting begins at 7pm.
