AN EXHIBITION of art, music, drama and dance is set to storm Eskmills Business Centre – heralding the launch of ‘The Gallery’ at the renovated former Victorian mill.

West Barns-based arts company, Polarcap, is showcasing work from 14 local and international artists in a multi-themed display entitled ‘Eskimo’ at Eskmills’ new gallery.

The exhibition launches this weekend and could become an annual event.

‘Eskimo’ incorporates a variety of different media including painting, drawing, digital projection, sculpture, photography, and performance.

Four of the artists are from East Lothian: Liz Adamson and Graeme Todd (Stenton), Michael Windle (Musselburgh) and Ian Patterson (East Linton).

Eskmills owner Malcolm Gillies said: “I believe business and the arts can co-exist and bringing them together at Eskmills, where one will help and benefit the other, will allow both to flourish.”
