Pupils’ films aim to fight the bullying menace
GULLANE Primary School pupils stepped in front of the camera to highlight the negative effects of bullying in schools.
P7 pupils created a series of exciting films – which included writing their own scripts – as part of a class project on how bullying impacts on their school community.
They screened the films as part of a special presentation last Thursday and invited pupils from Athelstaneford and Dirleton Primary Schools to enjoy the show.
Gullane Primary School headteacher Maureen Tremmel told the Courier: “The exciting thing about this project is that the children have used their knowledge in critical skills to co-ordinate and present this body of work.
“This means that their work is pupil-led and not teacher-driven.”
