Smoother bus route

DEVELOPERS are planning to construct a ‘bus turning facility’ as part of the ongoing housing development at West Windygoul, in Tranent.

An East Lothian Council spokesman confirmed that the facility would be constructed on Elphinstone Road, as part of the ongoing £6.4 million housing development at West Windygoul, by Walker Group.

He could give no details on timescale or costs.

Tranent and Elphinstone Community Council had previously heard that bus drivers were experiencing difficulties when manoeuvring their vehicles in and out of the development.
