Distressed by teenage flasher

A NINE-year-old girl is said to be in a state of distress after a youth indecently exposed himself in front of her.
The boy, aged 13-16, was walking along Hawthorn Road, Prestonpans, behind the girl.
As she approached the junction with Preston Terrace, she became aware of him. And on turning round she saw the youth indecently exposing himself.
She immediately ran home and told her parents about the incident, which occurred at 3.30pm last Wednesday.
Police appeal
The youth is described as being white, between 5ft 2in and 5ft 6in tall and of stocky to fat build.
He has dirty blonde ‘spiky’ styled hair and freckles covering his nose and cheeks.
At the time of the incident he was wearing a dark top that fastened at the front, with white writing across the front and a white T-shirt underneath, blue jogging pants with two white stripes down the side of each leg and white trainers.
A police spokesman said: “The description of this youth is very distinctive and we appeal for anyone who recognises this individual or has any information, to contact the police on 01875 810250”.
