CHILDREN and Early Years Minister, Adam Ingram MSP, was at the Macdonald Marine Hotel in North Berwick on Tuesday to promote East Lothian Council’s corporate parenting strategy.

Mr Ingram was keynote speaker at the event, which highlighted the roles played by the council and its partner organisations in caring for a total of 188 looked after children in the county.

While in North Berwick, the minister also launched a new national website, www.itscotland.org.uk/lookedafterchildren, to support all looked after children, young people, parents and carers.
