Cheques for six deserving causes

SIX “deserving” Tranent causes have benefited from a share of a fantastic £1,725 donation from Tranent’s St Martin’s Men’s Group.
At a charity night held in St Martin’s Church Hall on Saturday, representatives from Centre Stage Drama Company, Tranent Gala Committee, St Martin’s RC Primary School and Tranent Day Centre were delighted to accept their donations (see pic).
The Loch Centre Youth Club and St Martin’s RC Church also received a share of the funds, which were raised by the men’s group over the past two years.
Group secretary Greg McGinn told the Courier: “All these groups were deserving of a donation and it was a brilliant night for everyone.” Martincheques 4890
