BARRIE (Gullane) Val and family would like to say a big thank you to everyone for the kind words of comfort, many cards, flowers and letters received following the sad loss of Mike. Thanks also to all family, friends, ex work colleagues and Watsonians who joined us at the service at Mortonhall and thereafter at Myreside to say our final farewells and share fond memories, to celebrate the life of Mike before his illness. We would like to send special thanks to all staff at Lammerlaw, Herdmanflat for the compassionate care and kindness shown to Mike and the family. To the Rev Brian Hilsley, many thanks for his support and for leading a wonderful service. Thanks to Gary Tait (John Bald Funeral Directors) for his meticulous arrangements. Donations in aid of Alzheimer's (Scotland) totalled £1330.50.
