BIRSE.- (Aberlady) The family of Alick would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their much appreciated expressions of sympathy and the many cards received. Thank you to Doctors Cusworth and Smith who along with the wonderful staff of the Edington Hospital, made Dad's last days as comfortable as possible and who were very supportive to his family. We would also like to thank Wood and Hay Funeral Directors for their efficiency and kindness. Thank you to everyone who attended Dad's cremation at Mortonhall and to the Reverend Susan Durham for her comforting words. The retiral donations in lieu of flowers, totalling £400 for which we are so grateful, will be sent to The Friends Of Edington Hospital.
