DOIG.- (Tranent) Dorothy's husband Robert would like to thank all those who attended Dorothy's funeral service on the 4th April and for all the cards of condolence and messages of sympathy. It reflects the lovely person she was. Someone who dedicated 43years of her working life to serving the public in the library. Special thanks to the Rev Bill Wishart for an uplifting funeral service and to Leslie Chapman and her team of nurses who cared for Dorothy at home in the final weeks of her life. The generous sum of £586 was donated at her service and further £914 collected and to be forwarded to Dorothy's chosen Cancer charities. This loving wife and person will forever be our thoughts.
