BIRSE.- Alexander (Alick), aged 93, of Aberlady, passed away peacefully on 15th June, 2017, at the Edington Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Jenny, much loved father, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and neighbours. A celebration of his long life will take place at Mortonhall Crematorium Main Chapel on Monday 26th June at 11am. No need to wear black. Family flowers only please. Donations, if wished, to the Friends of Edington Hospital.
